The inaugural Penn AI Governance Workshop will bring together researchers from across the university who are working on responsible, trustworthy, fair, and safe artificial intelligence.

Designed to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, this workshop will leverage Penn’s strengths in AI and governance research. It will feature leading Penn researchers exploring key topics, including AI Safety and Evaluation, AI Policy, AI Ethics and Responsibility, and Teaching AI Governance at Penn. The program will include panel discussions interspersed with lightning talks from researchers, offering a dynamic exchange of ideas.

Co-sponsored by the Wharton AI & Analytics Initiative, the Wharton Accountable AI Lab, the School of Engineering & Applied Science, the Center for Technology, Innovation & Competition, and Perry World House, the workshop is free and open to all members of the Penn community, including faculty, researchers, students, and staff.
