Businesses and individuals alike are scrambling to stay ahead of the AI curve- trying to concurrently understand and leverage its promise, while mitigating its known and unknown dangers. Fortunately, NYT columnist and author Cade Metz has a long history of examining the emerging technologies that change society and joined Kartik Hosanagar, John C. Hower Professor, Professor of Operations, and Co-Director of AI at Wharton on December 12th for a fireside discussion.

Cade is the author of Genius Makers: The Mavericks Who Brought A.I. to Google, Facebook, and The World, the story of the people, ideas and companies behind the rapid rise of artificial intelligence. At the New York Times, he covers artificial intelligence, driverless cars, robotics, virtual reality and other emerging areas. He was previously a senior writer with Wired Magazine.

Together, they explored how AI will impact humanity and the complex questions that we all need to consider.
