Can you make smart washrooms even smarter? Join the Essity datathon to help this global hygiene and health company discover untapped potential in their IoT data.
THE CHALLENGE
Essity’s global Tork brand uses IoT sensors in dispensers, bins, and people counters to help their customers clean more effectively. It is sold as a subscription service directly to end customers and has a number of features in addition to the cleaning functionality such as customer feedback, messaging, and APIs.
Essity would like to understand if there is untapped value in the data being collected as part of Tork’s IoT solution for smart washrooms.
HOW IT WORKS
You and your self-selected team members (minimum of 3 participants) will have one week to analyze Essity’s data and come up with an innovative and implementable solution. If you sign up as an individual, we will assign you to a team.
Teams must submit a video presentation and code via Devpost by Feb. 4 at 7 a.m. ET. The top 3-5 teams will be announced later that day. On Feb. 5, finalists will present their findings to the judges and compete for the top-three prizes!
